June 23rd & 24th Fort Harrod Settlement & Raid. Our signature event, this is an 18th century reenactment at the oldest settlement this side of the Allegheny mountains. Settlers, sutlers, natives, traders and long hunters mix with the public to make this a wonderful event for both the campers and the public. Presentation all day including a Native Raid on the fort at 2:00 both days. 8:00 till 5:00 both days.

If you dare to enter this trail will lead you through the main gates of the fort, past the haunted cabins, into our abandoned theater and finally past the oldest cemetery in the state. November 17th Colonial Harvest meal, Trade Fair, and open house. What a day to be at Old Fort Harrod. We invite any and all traders and sutlers to set up inside our cabins and enjoy the crowds that come out for our open house. We also offer an authentic 18th century meal served in our blockhouse on our old wooden tables. This is a great way to experience the 18th century as you enjoy your meal under candle light in McGinty’s Ordinary while the dulcimer plays. Seats are very limited so call to get yours today, at only $25 they will be gone quickly!
